Meet our 2026 Main Cast!

Isabella Muselin, Ballet legato

Isabella is a Company Dancer with Ballet Legato and is so excited to dance the role of Adult Clara (who dances the Sugar Plum variation) and Pas for the first time.    Isabella has performed roles for Ballet Legato such as the Mad Hatter and Card in Ballet Legato's "Alice in Wonderland," Clara, Arabian, Lead Spanish to name a few, in the company's "The Nutcracker," along with multiple repertoire pieces.

Rickey J. Flagg, II, Guest Artist

 We are so excited to announce our 2026 Cavalier, Rickey J. Flagg II! Rickey, a native of Windsor, Connecticut, began his formal dance training at age 15 and later studied at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts and Hartt School Community Division. In 2012, he received a full scholarship to the Dance Theatre of Harlem Professional Training Program under the direction of Virginia Johnson. Upon completing the program, he joined Charlotte Ballet II before joining Collage Dance Collective in 2015.

Over 11 seasons with Collage, Rickey built a diverse classical and contemporary repertoire and performed nationally and internationally. Career highlights include performances at the Kennedy Center in Kevin Thomas’s Firebird, appearances at Jacob’s Pillow, and performing as a guest artist with Dance Theatre of Harlem during its 50th Anniversary season. His repertoire includes works by George Balanchine, Wayne McGregor, Crystal Pite, Christopher Huggins, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Dwight Rhoden, and others. In addition to performing, Rickey is an educator and choreographer with more than a decade of teaching experience. Following the completion of his 11th season with Collage in 2026, he began a new chapter as a freelance guest artist, educator, and choreographer. Rickey is delighted to join Ballet Legato for its 2026 production of The Nutcracker, performing the role of the Cavalier.

Anneliese Welsh, ballet legato

 Company Dancer, Anneliese Welsh is excited to dance the role of young Clara and Lead Spanish for the first time. Ms. Welsh joined us from the Sierra Nevada Ballet in 2025 and began working on our Nutcracker for the first time dancing the roles of Columbine and Marzipan. She's so excited to take on these role this season!

luna montana, guest artist

Dancer and social media sensation is joining us for the first time to dance the roles of Palace Princess and the Marzipan duet.  Luna Montana began her ballet journey at the age of three and has since grown into a passionate dancer, creator, and advocate for the next generation of dancers. With over 1 million followers across social media, Luna is recognized as one of ballet’s leading digital creators. Through her platform, Luna openly shares her experiences with body image and the pressures dancers face within the dance world. Her mission is to create a space where young dancers feel seen, understood, and empowered to embrace their authentic self. Luna is honored to bring her passion for ballet, storytelling, and community to the stage through the production of The Nutcracker in collaboration with Ballet Legato!
