CALL FOR DANCERS (PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS)

Ballet Legato is searching FEMALE/MALE Dancers/Apprentices and Trainees for our 2024/25 season, which runs from August 19-June 15. Possible summer 2024 performances TBD and will work around dancers' schedules. ***Dancers must be at least 18 years of age and RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES.

In Person Auditions can be held at any Company class scheduled with our Executive Director. Please email info@balletlegato.org.

Deadline for any submissions and audition is April 12th, 2024. Serious inquires only.

~Teaching Opportunities

~We are searching for reliable dancers who are advanced in contemporary AND ballet techniques.

~Men, please send reels to include partnering if you have any.

~Interested participants must send in a current head and body shot (we like photos with personality) with a link via Vimeo or YouTube of their work (within the last 6 months) with resume of dance experience. Applicants must include BOTH BALLET AND CONTEMPORARY movement to be considered. Pointe work included.

~Auditions can also be held at any one of our Company classes. Please email us for scheduling. In person auditions will have first consideration.

~Dancers who can pick up choreography quickly are desired and who can adapt to the company style of choreography.

~Ballet Legato is currently a project-based company.

~We offer an inclusive family - like atmosphere complete with an occasional morning of coffee and donuts!

Are You Looking to Enrich Your Dance Training?

Attention Dancers who have an interest in performing with a professional company and wish to excel their dance cirriculum!

• Trainees and/ or Apprentices must be at least 18 years old by September 1st and  have reliable transportation

• Young dancers must have a solid interest in expanding their training in dance.

• If asked, trainees/apprentices must be able to participate with the company in select rehearsals, company classes, performances and community outreach.  

• Interested participants must send in a current head and body shot with a link via Vimeo or YouTube of their work (within the last 6 months) with resume of dance experience. Applicants must have strong ballet and contemporary technique and willingness to learn to be considered!

• Auditions can be held at any one of our Company classes in lieu of the on site audition.  Advanced notice required. 

• Trainees who are serious, will be cultivated to enter the company as apprentices and company dancers.  We want to see you grow with us! 

Cost for Trainee Program: $1500 for the season.
