Ballet Legato is inviting a number of local artists to share the stage with us to celebrate Women's History Month on March 11th, 2023, 7pm at Cleveland's Pivot Center for the Performing Arts.  It's more important than ever to celebrate the strength  and voices of women!

If you are a woman (or identify as one), choreographer, dancer, singer, poet, drag performer or burlesque artist and wish to submit your work for the stage and celebrate some of Cleveland's finest talent, we invite you to submit your work! 

Ballet Legato believes in supporting our Cleveland community of artists and looks forward to collaborating with you!

Submission Requirements

• All applicants and performers must be 18 and over.  No exceptions
• Submission must not contain nudity or strong profanity.  (If you have questions regarding your work, simply ask)
• Applicants and performers must be available for any technical rehearsals, Sunday, March 5th and morning, day of show. Failure to attend will forfeit your participation. Times TBD
• All applications must be submitted with a no less than 1 min excerpt of your work by Friday, September 30th.  No exceptions.
• Performers are not limited to women only

Submission Information

• Solos or Groups may apply
• Submissions must be a minimum of 3 minutes, not to exceed 8 minutes
• Individuality and creativity encouraged
• Rehearsal footage is acceptable
• All submissions must be sent in the form of a YouTube or Vimeo link
• Non-refundable performance fee if chosen: $50 solo/$100 groups 2-5/$150 groups 6 & Up
• If submitting more than one piece that is accepted, second or more pieces are an additional $25 performance fee regardless of the number of performers.  First rate is charge by the most performers submitted then $25 fee to apply
• Artists are responsible for their own props, backdrops and music, if applicable
• If you are chosen, you will be invoiced for the non-refundable fee and submit payment by the date listed or you will forfeit your submission.
• Fees include 10 hours of rehearsal space leading up until the show!
